‘Must have 1 valid LNBP Skipper Certificate or CCBM holder on each boat’

Please Note: It is possible to book our boats without having an accompanying Project Skipper. We refer to this as ‘self-steering’ and it is only allowed when we have formally approved at least one of the adults on each boat in the group as a “Self-steerer”. To become a self-steerer you must hold a valid LNBP Self-steer Certificate, a Certificate in Community Boat Management [CCBM], or higher award.

Booking Security Deposit

A Booking Security Deposit of £100 per boat is payable to secure your booking.

Return of Security Deposit

Within 28 days after the hire period, LNBP will refund the hirer the Booking/Security Deposit paid, less any extra costs incurred and/or costs of damage to, or losses of LNBP’s property, or that of a Third Party making a claim against LNBP during or as a result of the booking concerned. The total of such deductions, if any, shall be determined by LNBP at its sole discretion.
If you paid your Booking/Security Deposit by BACS Transfer or Credit Card, it will be refunded the same way.
I will pay the balance of outstanding payments at least 4 weeks before the hire commences.
