LNBP were pleased to welcome members of Witton Methodist Church to the canalside at Braunston as part of our Community Taster Days.
And judging by the pictures and comments we have received, they had a great time.
Here’s what Carole Stanton from the group had to say.
“Our group from Witton Methodist Church were looking forward to the trip since it was booked during the Summer and we were not disappointed.
“A group from St Theresa Church also joined us and although we did not know each other at the start of the day, by day’s end, we parted as if we were long-lost friends eagerly awaiting a follow-up meeting to see the many photos taken.
“The skippers on the two narrow boats are a credit to the team, not only were they friendly but they also took time to explain and answer questions concerning ‘life on the canal’. They even allowed some ‘with supervision’ to steer the boats.
A memorable day, even the weather was good, and looking forward to our next trip”
It was a pleasure to have members of Witton Methodist Church and St Theresa Church with us, and we hope to see you all again soon for perhaps a longer trip.
