With LNBP now able to allow hire bookings of their two boats for two family households and support bubble groups, now is the time to book for your late summer and early autumn break.

Once again our self-steer hire is a unique opportunity to enjoy what our boats have to offer with your family for a weekend or midweek holiday break on the Grand Union or Oxford Canal here in central England.

Under normal circumstances our boats are normally only available for hire by bonafide community groups and organisations. However, we know the Covid-19 pandemic has made life anything but normal and we have adapted our service and offering to the wider public for a limited time.

It is anticipated that our ‘normal service’ of being able to permit weekend and midweek residential group bookings by groups and organisations will resume in the not-too-distant future. However, with the word ‘staycation’ on many people’s minds when it comes to 2021 holidays, the interim period presents a chance for families to enjoy everything our boats have to offer for a family getaway, including the beauty and heritage of our wonderful canal network, as well as so many great places you can visit depending on your length of trip.

Similar to last year the indications are that the chance to hire Lancelot and Guinevere will once again be very popular. The stipulation as previous that one or more members of the party must hold a CCBM (Certificate in Community Boat Management) still applies.
