‍It is with great sadness that we learned last week of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

As Britain’s longest-serving monarch, The Queen has served through many defining moments in world history and in a small way also the history of LNBP Community Boating.

Officials of LNBP were fortunate enough to receive an audience with her, her late husband HRH Prince Phillip and the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, at a Garden Party held at Buckingham Palace in July 2006, this as part of the project being awarded The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (the MBE for volunteer groups).

 

Our thoughts and condolences are with King Charles III and the Royal family at this sad time.
