To start our new boating season we were pleased to welcome leaders and members of The Boathouse Youth during the February half-term break.

The Boathouse Youth is a Registered UK Charity (1149320) that works with children and young people in Blackpool. They aim to provide a variety of educational and recreational activities that will build confidence, restore self-esteem and bring happiness to the lives of its young members.

Working in conjunction with our neighbours and friends at Union Canal Carriers (UCC), both our boats Lancelot and Guinevere along with boats from UCC’s fleet were used by The Boathouse Youth for their Seniors & Seniors Plus Canal Boat Residential.
