40 Years of LNBP

Having started out as the London Narrow Boat Project (hence the abbreviation to LNBP), the achievement of reaching our 40th birthday is something we are proud of and intend to celebrate and reflect on extensively during the coming year.

For four decades we have been and still are proud to introduce community groups and organisations young and old to the delights and benefits of our inland waterways. In that time, we have welcomed so many people – young and old – to our boats it is hard to put a figure to…at the moment at least, but we’re working on it.

That is just one of so many things we hope to look back at in the coming 12 months, by bringing together other facts and figures, personal stories and recollections, photos and other memorabilia spanning the last 40 years.
